The Bakerview EcoDairy is the first demonstration farm of its kind in Canada, showcasing innovative and sustainable dairy farm practices while inviting the public to share in the fun and educational experience.
Located in the beautiful Fraser Valley with views of Mount Baker in the distance, the EcoDairy is surrounded by 80 acres of lush farmland providing a playground of pure, natural indulgence.
Our engaging hosts will bring the extraordinary EcoDairy story to life through a witty animated video with Vicki the cow, a self-guided tour through informative static displays, a moooving face-to-face amble through our Dairy Barn (the home of our Vitala Cows) and udderly fascinating view of the Robot Milker in the DeLaval Observation Room.
We strive to make your visit fun. That’s why we ask you to please, read our tour information carefully, and to utilize the tour booking form below (or click) to book your tour.
- All tour groups of 10 or more people require ADVANCE reservation.
- Bookings must be made at least 14 days prior to the desired date of your tour.
- Group visits may be booked for Monday - Friday between 10am – 4pm.
- Please advise us in advance of any EcoDairy related questions/topics you would like us to address.
- If you have any special needs, advise us at least two weeks prior to the tour date.
- For school class tours, siblings of students, only if they are students in the same class.
- Once booked, a confirmation with a location map will be emailed to teachers or group tour coordinators.
- If there is a change in plans in your arrival tour, we ask that your tour coordinator call The Learning Centre at our Bakerview EcoDairy (see below) immediately.
- Your group is asked not to wear open-toed shoes (especially in the Vitala cow's barn).
- Your group, if travelling by bus, will have a designated place to park.
- Upon tour arrival, a host will welcome you, bring you into the Learning Centre and provide a brief overview of your tour.
- Payment for the tour is due in full, 7 days prior to the tour date.
- Fees are payable by cheque, cash or credit card. Group Tour discount: 20% off regular fees (Children ages 6–12: $5; Youth 13 –18/Seniors: $7; Adults: $9; Family: $25).
- Cancellations are subject to a $50 service fee.
